 We had a great time at the Midsummer Renaissance Fair this weekend! I wore my new latex pink fairy outfit. 

We shot arrows and threw axes and ate some food and some some friends. 

The lines to get in were kinda horrendous including the traffic but we made it work.

The latex got kinda dirty so I'm not sure I'll wear latex again to a renne faire again haha

Lola Bunny Try-on

 Excited to finally try on Latex Lola Bunny!

Ack! I just realized I Forgot to get a shot of the back with the cute tail! Haha oh well. I'll get real pics at con.

I'm a little disappointed with the top. It still ended up a bit loose at the bottom so I may take it apart again and fix it similar to Tifa's and then update the pattern once again. We'll get it right at some point! haha. 

The bottoms came out ok, considering I did do a pattern test but one thing I thought might go away was a bit of the sag/ruffled crotch going on. I'm not sure I can fix it and I'm not sure how yet. But we'll see for future costumes. It's not too bad really.

Otherwise Lola Bunny is done and ready for DragonCon!!!

Tifa Try-on Take 2

 Well after making the skirt, I finally had a chance to try it on and also try on the 'fixed' top as well. I'm pretty happy with the results, I have to say!

Memorial Day weekend

 I had a great time for Memorial Day weekend in Southern California at my Aunt's house! We did some wine tasting and played in the pool and I got sunburned lol.

Trip to Albuquerque

My last trip before summer is on the books. We went to Albuquerque , why? Well it's kind of random haha. 

But we found lots to do and it was warm weather! Which is a huge requirement for me!

As you can see, I packed my usual 2 bags for a 4 day weekend lol. 
 

Oh and we flew First Class and my friend Renee got us sparkle masks too!

Indoor pool anyone? YES! And lots of good food. I probably ate too much green chili sauce too! haha

Love me tender! Oh and did you know the New Mexico State Flag had so much representation with symbols!

We also drove out to Santa Fe and had Mexican and fro yo. 

And we of course enjoyed some time in the Immersive Art that is Meowulf! Trippy AF!

And finally we went up in hot air balloons! It was my first time and it as pretty fun.

Overall it was a great time with some friends in some warm weather!
